The Roadrunner
Weeks after letting this sit for a bit, I noticed that the maps I used are of an indigenous reservation, the roadrunner’s head feathers look like a headdress, and the eagle chasing it away is an American symbol.
That’s not what the piece means to me but the different perspectives and meanings art can take on fascinate me.
